My Role

Tools Used

To provide young investors with a single platform to learn & practice stock market trading/investment, & to boost their confidence before entering the real market.

A stock market mainly is a place for the people to buy or sell securities also knows as stocks to represent the ownership claim on any particular business. The entire stock Investment industry has a total market capital of US $93.7 trillion at the end of 2020, and continuously growing.

It plays a crucial role in an economy by providing a platform for companies to raise capital for expansion and innovation, which drives economic growth and job creation.

The stock market in India has shown substantial growth in recent years, reflecting its increasing importance in the economy. The number of demat accounts in India grew rapidly, reaching over 115 million by the end of 2023. In 2023 alone, over 13 million new demat accounts were opened, highlighting growing financial awareness among the population.

Individuals aged 16-30, who are in a critical phase of learning and skill development, often face challenges in gaining practical experience in investment techniques due to unstable or limited income. This lack of financial stability and investment capital makes it difficult for them to apply what they learn and engage in real-time trading.

To collect more of a qualitative data I surveyed around 108 People who might be the potential users of the app. This survey helped me to narrow down my focus on the main issue & Ideate possible solutions.

Before jumping into the technicals it’s important to understand the base of this project.

India has the fifth-largest stock market globally with the market cap of $3.8 trillion

Only 7% of Indians actively invest in stock market
